The Wicker Park Committee is a non-profit community organization, established in 1973, committed to quality of life in the Wicker Park District. The WPC is compromised of individuals, families, and businesses who reside within the boundaries of the district.

The goal of the WPC is to enhance the quality of life for the Wicker Park residents by:
  • Nurturing a sense of "community" in the neighborhood by bringing people together
  • Working with local political and community organizations to address neighborhood issues and effect positive change
  • Preserving the historic nature and continuity of Wicker Park
  • Creating a family-friendly environment
  • Providing a conduit for neighborhood information
